Last weekend I braved the cold morning and headed out to shoot the sunrise near Raffles Hotel in Applecross with the talented landscape photographer James (you should check out his work if you don't know him!). The last time I woke up before the sun rose was probably during last year's FXA Landscape Photography Workshop down south. As it's currently winter in Perth, sunrise is generally closer to 7am in the morning. So waking up a bit before 6am to head out doesn't seem too bad if I can brave the chilly morning.
