Open House Perth 2018, Part II

In the last couple of years some awesome inner city hotels and eateries have opened up on Perth. These were some of my highlights from day 1 of photographing in the city area for Open House Perth.

I made it for one of two limited special events at Hadiqa in the new Hibernian Square area. The design team gave a short talk on the concept to inception of Hadiqa to the guests. Hadiqa also put on some complimentary iced Moroccan tea to all the guests. I got to explore the rooftop bar and garden terrace as well as the intimate dining space that has been outfitted with Middle Eastern design. Would be keen to check out the restaurant and bar when it’s thriving with people and activity.

QT in the centre of Perth city is one of the newly opened inner city designer hotels. This boutique hotel has an urban and chic interior design. It’s luxurious, modern, whimsical yet down to earth. We had a great tour of the hotel, checking out the lobby, a room, conference rooms, gym, restaurants, bars and all the way to level 18 where the rooftop bar is located. You get some great view of Perth city from the top.

Alex Hotel has been in Northbridge for several years. I booked in for one of the full tours of Alex hotel last year. This year I popped back just to get some shots of the lobby area.
