Cathedral Square, the historic heart of Perth

Cathedral Square is one of the newly revitalised areas in Perth City.  St George Cathedral, the new City of Perth Library, and State Buildings are amongst the more well known buildings. I enjoyed walking around the area and taking photos of these buildings. Architectural and urbanscape photography is still a favourite of mine. Perth really has come a long way in the last few years.

Across St George’s Terrance is Perth Council Building. The modern boxy look and glass panels is a stark contrast to the historic buildings at Cathedral Square.

The next post will focus on the new City of Perth Library. I love exploring new and interesting buildings, and the library is certainly one of them.
