After years in the making, Perth finally opened it’s doors to our new stadium, Optus Stadium. It was a very warm Sunday afternoon when my family and I decided to check out the new stadium on open day. Public transport worked pretty well and the crowds were pretty well behaved. The stadium does look impressive up close and from a distance.
The interior of the stadium was I suppose like any other modern stadium with modern facilities. I was hoping we could check out the more exclusive areas like corporate boxes and the players rooms. But alas, visitors were only privy to the usual public areas. Because we were visiting late in the afternoon, the sun weather was still pretty warm, but the lighting was fairly good for photography.
I’m looking forward to going for a game or a show at the stadium. Or even checking out some of the fancy looking cafes and restaurants located on site but outside the stadium. Thanks for stopping by today.
