Street photography in Perth City at night

Perth city, 2019
Myer, Perth city

I headed straight to into Perth city after work on Friday night to meet a friend for dinner. I had a spare hour before it was time to meet and decided to bring my camera along to do some shooting. I shot with the Fujifilm X-T10 and the 23mm f2 lens. A great combination for some street and night photography, with the fast focusing and lightweight combination. As always I enjoy shooting urban architecture. I tried to incorporate some people into my shots where possible but I’m still not that brave to do any street portraiture where people are the focus of the shot.

It’s not often I head out to Perth city at night and spend time doing photography. It was an enjoyable hour of meandering around Perth city. Thanks for stopping by today.

Street portraits are always a challenge. Never know how people are gonna react! But when you get a good one, it’s so satisfying!

Yeh Definitely, but a fun challenge especially when you get a shot you like!
