Whisk Creamery in Subiaco has been around the Perth dessert scene for almost two years. I only got a chance to check it out a few months ago when I was in Subi for dinner.
Whisk Creamery offers something a bit more creative and whimsical. Soft-serve style gelato, sugar-loaded milkshakes and assorted toppings and sauces. You can keep it simple or go crazy, the choice is yours with their “create your own masterpiece”.
I’m not one to have anything too fancy and sugary. We decided to share two items among the four of us. A croinut sandwich with salted caramel and Belgian chocolate gelato; and a choux puff cone with matcha and peanut butter gelato. It was pretty darn delicious.
If you haven’t tried it, you should check it out. It’s great to see more dessert spots popping up across Perth. Whisk Creamery is a fresh and fun twist on dessert and ice cream. Just prepare to have plenty of stomach space for all that sugar.
